Rev Morris G. Siah

Rev. Morris G. Siah joined the leadership of the Liberia Baptist Missionary & Educational Convention, Inc. (LBMEC) in October 2015.

During the 42nd Mid-Year Session held at the Carolyn and Bradley Brown Chapel at the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary, October 24 and 25, 2015, the former President of LBMEC- Rev.Dr. Olu Q. Menjay (following a consultation with the Executive Committee), named Rev. Morris G. Siah to act as Acting Executive Secretary to replace the then Executive Secretary who has resigned earlier.

Having acted in this position for two years, Rev. Morris G. Siah was elected as Executive Secretary on April 14, 2018, at the 104th Annual Session of LBMEC held at the historic Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia.

Rev. Siah is a 1989 graduate from the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary with B.TH degree.

When the Liberian civil war broke out in 1990, Rev. Siah went in exile to Cote D’ Ivoire in 1992. He and some Liberian refugees founded the Liberian Christian Fellowship in the city of Man, Cote D’ Ivoire where he served as the first Pastor from 1992 to 1996. In 1997 Rev. Siah and their family migrated to Ghana where he pastored Refuge Baptist Church at Buduburam Refugee Camp, Ghana from 1998 to 2005.

Rev. Morris G. Siah is a family man and is married to Mrs. Melvina Reed Siah. Their union is blessed with seven children.

As Executive Secretary of the LBMEC, he runs the day-to-day operations of the Convention in consultation with the President. He also serves as Assistant Pastor of Du-port Road Baptist Church, Paynesville, Liberia.
